Role Overview
This role is part of the Investment & Asset Management IT Tower, responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all investment and asset management systems, applications, and platforms.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated SimCorp Dimension (SCD) Specialist to take ownership of supporting the operation and development of the SCD front-to-back installation. The primary focus is on SCD front office and supporting modules, as well as corresponding interfaces. Product ownership of further asset management applications connected to SCD is an option.
This position is ideal for a technically proficient professional with deep knowledge of SimCorp Dimension architecture, configuration, and data flows, combined with a solid understanding of IT service management, system operations, and application lifecycle management. You will act as the bridge between IT operations, development teams, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Development: Ensure secure, secure, and efficient daily operations of SCD and related interfaces. Drive continuous improvements to meet evolving operational requirements.
- Business Consulting & Strategy: Translate business requirements into technical implementations, planning and executing change requests, product releases, and sign-off procedures.
- ITSM Processes: Manage incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with IT service management standards.
- Lifecycle & Documentation: Maintain complete documentation, release management, and operational readiness for all application changes. Ensure full service lifecycle management for asset management products.
- Compliance & Security: Support audits, compliance, and security requirements related to system operations and data integrity.
- Global Collaboration: Work seamlessly across cross-functional teams and international locations.
Key Qualifications
- Education: University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SCD Expertise: Expert-level knowledge in SimCorp Dimension Front Office modules, including FIX Trading.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of one or more of the following: Analytics, Benchmarks, Cash and Collateral Management, Reconciliation, and Settlement.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Communication Servers and Crystal Reports. Exposure to Cloud infrastructure (MS Azure) and API usage (SQL, Python, JSON) is a plus.
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL processes to collaborate effectively with infrastructure, operations, development, and architecture teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer orientation, proactive problem-solving, structured planning, and solid stakeholder management/negotiation skills.
