Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Siding Installer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality siding and performing various carpentry tasks to enhance the exterior appearance and durability of residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually appealing, weather-resistant structures while ensuring safety and precision on every project.

Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, assemble, and install siding materials using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure proper installation procedures
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, sealing, and making necessary repairs to ensure a smooth siding application
- Perform heavy lifting of siding panels, lumber, and other materials safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Use caulking techniques to seal joints, gaps, and seams for weatherproofing and aesthetic purposes
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members




- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship

Experience

- Prior construction experience with a focus on siding installation or carpentry preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and finishing work on building exteriors
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working at heights
- Handyman experience or general construction background is advantageous but not required
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills
