Position Overview The GeoFocus Group is seeking a reliable and organized Site Clerk to support the day-to-day administration and coordination of our construction projects in Barrie, Ontario.

The Site Clerk will work closely with the Site Supervisor, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, trades, and consultants to ensure that site documentation, deliveries, records, and administrative tasks are kept organized and up to date.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in the construction industry and gain exposure to wood-frame multi-residential construction projects from the field level.

Key Responsibilities

Site Administration & Documentation

- Maintain organized site files, records, and construction documentation
- Assist with daily site documentation and reporting
- Maintain logs for deliveries, visitors, site activities, and other required records
- Assist with tracking deficiencies and follow-up items
- Organize and distribute project documentation as directed by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager
- Assist with maintaining current drawings, specifications, and other site documents
- Support the Project Coordinator with document management and filing

Site Coordination





- Assist the Site Supervisor with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks
- Coordinate and track material deliveries to the site
- Receive and organize delivery documentation
- Assist with coordinating site access for trades, suppliers, consultants, and visitors
- Maintain site contact lists and relevant project information
- Communicate with office staff regarding site-related administrative matters
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, inspections, and site visits as required

Construction Support

- Review and organize daily reports, site photos, and other project records
- Assist with tracking materials, equipment, and site supplies
- Help maintain organized records of trade activities and deliveries
- Assist with deficiency tracking and close-out documentation
- Support the Site Supervisor with general administrative tasks as required
- Assist with project close-out documentation and record keeping

Health & Safety

- Support the Site Supervisor in maintaining an organized and safe jobsite
- Assist with maintaining required health and safety documentation
- Help ensure site records and posted documentation remain current
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Comply with applicable Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements





Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in a construction, administrative, or site support role is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud is considered an asset
- Knowledge of construction documentation and terminology is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently while also supporting a larger project team
- Previous experience working on a construction site is an asset

Position Details

- Full-time, on-site position based in Barrie, Ontario
- Work closely with Site Supervisors, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, trades, consultants, and suppliers
- Exposure to wood-frame multi-residential construction projects

Compensation & Benefits

- $38,000-65,000 commensurate with experience
