The Township of Larder Lake is seeking a ski lift operator.

Ski Hill Hours of Operations: Wednesday, 5pm - 9pm, Friday 5pm - 9pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Load and unload guests safely on the T-bar lift
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect the safety of our patrons
- Check lift tickets and passes for validations
- Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log
- Maintain an orderly and fair flow through of lift riders
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
- Responsible for snow maintenance (i.e. grooming)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all patrons
- Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance




- Recognize incidents that require documentation – fill out appropriate paperwork correctly
- Read and understand company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Maximum Qualifications:

- Mechanically inclined – with ability to identify mechanical problems.
- Current working knowledge of Health and Safety code.
- WHMIS training.

- Standard First Aid CPR
- Valid G driver's license or skidoo license
- Able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather.
