Site Supervisor
Location: Various job sites Job Type: 1-Year Contract, with possibility of permanent full-time employment at year end Pay: $40-$45 per hour
Schedule: Full time; some weekend and night work may be required
About the Position: We are currently seeking an experienced working Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction activities on our job sites. The successful candidate will provide hands-on supervision and direction to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard of workmanship.
The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate schedules, labour, materials, equipment, and scopes of work.
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Project Manager.
Supervise and direct day-to-day construction activities on site.
Review and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors required for the project.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on the job site.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
Carpenter's license.
Working at Heights certification.
Fall Arrest certification.
Valid First Aid certification.
Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience and familiarity with ICI and private commercial construction projects.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
Additional Requirements
Travel of more than two hours may be required for certain job sites.
Security clearance checks may be required for some government projects.
