Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Snow Removal Subcontractor to ensure safe and accessible outdoor spaces during winter months. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas. Your expertise will help maintain safety standards and prevent accidents caused by winter weather conditions.

This paid position offers an opportunity to work independently while contributing to community safety and property upkeep.

Responsibilities

- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, shovels, and hand tools to transparent snow from various surfaces
- Assess weather conditions regularly to determine the scope of snow removal needed
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and enhance safety
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance during snow events
- Communicate proactively with property managers or clients regarding completed work or any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent injuries or damage during snow removal activities
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including areas cleared and materials used





Requirements

- Proven experience in snow removal, landscaping, or construction-related roles with a focus on outdoor maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining snow removal equipment and power tools
- Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, shovels, and other manual equipment effectively
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance is a plus for broader outdoor care responsibilities
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor work in winter conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for equipment transportation purposes
- Physical stamina to perform demanding outdoor tasks in cold weather environments
