*(As your value with the compnay increases through outstanding preformace so does compensation and creative freedom)
In October 2025 our Instagram had 2,300 followers. It now has 40,800.
That growth happened because the owner started filming jobs and posting them himself, guessing at a format and sticking with it. It worked. We meet tradespeople at shows across the country who say they see our videos constantly. We get inbound leads and training enquiries from people who found us on a reel.
The problem is that the owner runs the company. He can't keep being the one who edits and posts.
So we're hiring the person who takes it over.
What this job actually is
You get a 40,000-follower account that already works, roughly 400GB of unused job footage sitting in Google Drive, and crews on site every week producing more.
You'd be responsible for
- 3 short-form videos a week to start, 5 a week once you're up to speed — Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook. Same asset, cross-posted.
- Long-form YouTube, less frequent but properly made. This is a different craft from shorts and we know it.
- Captions that sound like a person, not a product brochure.
- Telling us what to film. Coming to us with "I need these three shots on Thursday because I want to make this video for these people" is the whole job. If you're waiting for a shot list, this isn't the role.
- Creative new Ideas- Brainstorm with the owner on new types of videos and content you want to try.
- Mining the archive. There are hundreds of finished jobs already shot and you can use them in different content posts.
You'll have direct access to the owner and real creative latitude. If you find a format that outperforms what we're doing now, run it. We're results-driven, not ego-driven — if your version works better, your version wins.
Who this is for
Someone young and hungry who knows social media natively — not someone who studied marketing and can build a brand deck. We already did that exercise. It's how SafeScapes exists.
We think the window for free organic reach is closing. In a few years everyone will be paying for eyeballs. We want to take as much ground as we can before that happens, and we want someone who sees that the same way.
You should have:
- Proficiency in CapCut (or equivalent) for short-form, and real long-form editing ability for YouTube
- An account you have personally grown — yours, a client's, a friend's band's, doesn't matter — with numbers you can show us
- The ability to work independently. We'll collaborate on direction, but nobody is going to hand you a weekly task list.
- A car / valid licence
You do not need a marketing degree, agency experience, or a brand strategy deck.
How to apply
Don't send a resume.
Send us
- Two or three accounts you've grown. Handles, and the follower numbers before and after.
- Two or three pieces you edited yourself — at least one short-form, at least one long-form.
- One short paragraph: go to our Instagram @safescapes, find a reel of ours that performed well, and tell us why you think it worked.
That third one matters most to us. It takes five minutes and it tells us more than a resume does. Send it to
[email protected] with the subject line "40k" so we know you read this far.
