New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Solution Architect to assist on a Digital Referrals and Order project.

Responsibilities

- Performs analysis of functional and non-functional requirements, identifying technical specifications and translating these into technical architectural system designs and occasionally prototypes.

- Recommend architectural solutions that satisfy technical/functional requirements and align with the enterprise architecture strategy.

- Fully participating in weekly and ad hoc meetings to support timely provision of information related to design decisions, progress, status, issues, risks, and solutions related to project deliverables.

- Leading meetings with subject matter experts with the goal of developing and validating technical solutions related to application development.

- Creating and revising the Solution Architecture including a roadmap and approach to transition from current state architecture to planned future state architecture.

- Collaborating with cross function and multi-disciplinary teams across multiple organizations to complete assigned tasks and deliverables.

- Works with Enterprise architect, product owner, technical analysts, and other developers

- Support the successful implementation of Salesforce and system integrations.

- Perform gap analysis between functionality of the DRO platform and various clients' requirements.

- General knowledge of health information standards.

- Can provide leadership and guidance to the technical team.

Requirements

- 10+ year’s recent,



related experience in enterprise and/or solution architecture and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.

- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a degree in data science, health information science, and/or computer science, including training and/or experience in enterprise architecture in the healthcare domain.

- Experience working within the BC Health Sector and/or similar province-wide health systems (preferably across multiple provinces and/or national experience).

- Experience with architecture in diagnostic domains, including laboratory, medical imaging.

- Experience in large-scale healthcare interoperability or integration projects.

- Ability to effectively navigate and deliver results in a large and complex environment.

- Forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts and topics in lay terms to non-subject matter experts and build consensus and credibility among diverse stakeholders.

- Proven success in architecting enterprise solutions with an emphasis on business/strategic considerations.

- Able to work expeditiously as an individual contributor and as a team member.

- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
