Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar O&M; Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be overseeing the operations and maintenance of our solar energy systems. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of our solar installations, coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

- Monitor and manage the daily operations of our solar energy systems

- Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for our solar installations

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on solar system issues

- Track and analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement

- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and technical issues

- Manage stock and procure materials

- Ensure accurate and prompt client invoicing for chargeable items

- Provide administrative support for field technicians, including travel arrangements

- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including electrical engineers and subcontractors





Qualifications

- A degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Technical Management, or a related field

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

- Proficiency in solar monitoring software and tools, strong understanding of solar PV systems and components is an asset

- Experience in industrial, utility-scale, and/or rooftop solar is an asset
- A full G license

Skills

- Strong technical proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Knowledgeable in basic troubleshooting and IT support

- Experienced with data entry and familiar with various operating systems, full training will be provided

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills

- Commitment to safety and quality standards as well as incident prevention

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
