High-Rise Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced High-Rise Construction Superintendent to lead the onsite delivery of a high-rise construction project in Ontario. The successful candidate will have at least five years of Superintendent experience and demonstrated experience managing a high-rise project through the full construction lifecycle, from mobilization and excavation through occupancy and closeout.

Pay: $100,000 - $150,000

Key Responsbilites

- Lead daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

- Manage short-term schedules, site logistics and trade sequencing to keep the project on track.

- Monitor progress and resolve site issues, delays and conflicts.

- Oversee major construction phases, including structure, envelope, building systems, finishes and turnover. Review drawings and specifications and coordinate RFIs, changes and constructability issues with the project team. Maintain strong standards for safety, quality, documentation and housekeeping.

- Coordinate inspections, occupancy requirements, deficiencies and project closeout.

- Communicate regularly with project managers, consultants, clients and trades.

- Provide leadership and direction to site staff.

Qualifications

- Minimum five years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on high-rise projects.

- Experience completing at least one high-rise project from mobilization through occupancy and closeout.

- Solid knowledge of concrete high-rise construction, sequencing and trade coordination.

- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code,



Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations.

- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.

- 5 - 10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)

- Technical trade diploma

- Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineer drawings and other documents

- Sense of responsibility, initiative and accountability

- Excellent communication skills and a "get 'er done" attitude

- Ability to travel a must
