Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging reading sessions tailored to early learners, focusing on developing comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency skills
- Facilitate fun and interactive math activities that build foundational numeracy and problem-solving abilities
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support
- Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates children to participate actively in lessons
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents or guardians as needed
- Use computer skills to prepare educational materials, manage lesson plans, and utilize digital learning tools effectively




- Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure cohesive program delivery and continuous improvement

Skills

- Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings, especially in literacy or math instruction
- Strong knowledge of early childhood literacy strategies and fundamental math concepts
- Passion for teaching and helping children succeed academically
- Excellent communication skills to connect with young learners and their families
- Proficiency with computers, educational software, and digital resources for lesson planning and student engagement
- Classroom experience or background in education enhances your ability to create effective learning experiences
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus for supporting diverse learning needs
