Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and proper food handling at all times
- Assist in meal preparation, including slicing fish, cooking rice, and assembling sushi rolls
- Serve guests with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive dining experience through excellent food service skills
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized,



and stocked with necessary ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to meet service goals during busy hours while maintaining a lively work environment

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a sushi chef in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform serving duties with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in sushi preparation and meal assembly
- Excellent attention to detail for exact cutting, presentation, and ingredient measurement
- Prior restaurant experience within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
