Key Responsibilities

Analyze legacy systems, source-to-target mappings, and business requirements to define data migration and integration objectives.

Trace target data elements to source systems and perform data profiling, validation, and impact analysis using SQL.

Document end-to-end data lineage, transformation rules, surrogate key logic, and reference data dependencies.

Review existing ETL processes and legacy code to identify and document business rules where mapping specifications are unavailable.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to design and validate L2/L3 data models.

Prepare technical design documents, data movement models, and source-to-target mapping specifications for current data solutions.

Design and implement key management and surrogate key generation processes across L2 and L3 layers.

Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable AWS-based data pipelines using services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and Step Functions.





Support migration of legacy data warehouse platforms, including IBM Netezza, to AWS-based data lake and analytics environments.

Ensure data quality, governance, security, compliance, and metadata management standards are adhered to throughout the data lifecycle.

Collaborate with data scientists, business teams, and technology teams to integrate analytical models and enterprise data assets.

Automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines and support unit testing, SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production releases.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data processing frameworks to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Develop reusable design patterns, onboarding frameworks, and best practices for enterprise data integration initiatives.

Support production deployments and provide ongoing operational support for data platforms and workflows.
