As a key member of our team, the Service Technician brings to life the ultimate service experience. The Service Technician is responsible for working attentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall department success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned;
- Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair;
- Estimate parts and labour costs;
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;
- Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors;
- Perform road tests and safety inspections;
- Experience with the Volvo brand;
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on repair techniques and industry trends; contribute to process improvements
Qualifications:
- Valid Automotive Service Technician (310S) License;
- Must have Safety boots and own your own tools;
- Strong Aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs;
- Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record;
- 3 to 5 years of experience working in this role;
- Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills;
- Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions;
- Possess an ODP license is an asset;
- Possess a Drive Clean-Light Duty Inspector Certification is an asset.

Compensation:
- Expected compensation range: $40 to $42 flat rate;
- The range may vary based on experience and qualifications;
