We are seeking a Temporary Dental Hygienist to join our independently owned dental team. In this role, you will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall patient experience.
Days & Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Hours and days are flexible
Duties
- Perform skilled dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and recommend appropriate home care routines
- Assist with patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Powerpractice/CADI
- Support the dental office by assisting with sterilization, instrument preparation, and other clinical tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Dental Hygienist in B.C.
Pay: $68.00-$70.00 per hour
