Qualifications

Applications will be accepted from candidates with one or more of the following;

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, social service work, or other related field from a community college or university, or related experience.
- Is currently enrolled in a community college or university diploma or degree program in the fields outlined above, or satisfy MOHLTC guidelines for Recreation Aide qualifications
- GPA Training or Equivalent preferred
- Experience in leading and planning activities and or programs in all 5 domains
- Advanced computer skills
- Knowledge on ActivityPro an asset
- Food Handlers Certificate an asset
- Smart Serve certificate an asset
- Valid Level A CPR an asset




- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last 6 months
- Documentation of a negative 2-Step TB Skin Test in the last 2 years
- Valid SIN number and work permit if applicable

It is required that all staff must have two Covid-19 Vaccines.

Job Types: Part time, Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $23.41 per hour
