Role Description The Travel Agency Manager / Senior Travel Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingston, ON. This role involves managing day-to-day travel operations, including client consultations, itinerary planning, booking cruises and all-inclusive packages, and coordinating group travel. The individual will oversee supplier relationships, handle reservations and changes, process payments, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with travel policies.

Daily responsibilities include leading and supporting a small team, setting sales goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to deliver consistent, high-quality service.



The role also requires identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and representing Symphony Vacation professionally in all client and vendor interactions.

Qualifications

- Experience in a travel agency setting with strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and booking systems.
- Skills in planning and coordinating guided tours, group travel, and complex itineraries.
- Team management experience, including coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Sales and sales management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort working with booking platforms, CRM tools, and general office software; familiarity with travel industry regulations and best practices is an asset.
- Relevant education or certification in travel, tourism, or hospitality is beneficial; prior management or senior advisory experience in the travel sector is preferred.
