Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be as a Truck Driver; you will be responsible for transporting wood residuals such as sawdust, shavings, wood chips to various locations in the Lower Mainland. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and on time. This job requires you to occasionally cross the border into the USA, so a passport / visa, and a drug test is required.

Duties

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or tractor-trailer, walking floor trailers, and blower trucks.
- Operate a blower truck installing sawdust, soil, and mulches for the agricultural, residential, and commercial industries.

- Maintain safety program
- Driver / Operator is responsible for operating the blower truck computer and remote control during the installation (training provided)
- Work as a team with the blower truck assistant (pipe man) you will help with hose setup and movement during the install as well as the cleanup after the job.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries,



including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols

Requirements
- Manual Transmission Endorsement
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
- Ability to take a drug test
