Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to deliver products from Fort McMurray to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with care, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment when necessary.
- Manage documentation such as delivery manifests, logs, and route sheets accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,



and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical concerns immediately.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks during loading and unloading processes to ensure cargo safety.

Skills

- Proven experience in driving large trucks or commercial vehicles with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions.
- Robust knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and route planning.
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with team members and clients.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual lifting tasks.
- Attention to detail in vehicle inspections, documentation, and safety procedures
