Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Calgary, AB.

The Truck

Driver will safely operate company trucks to transport grocery and retail goods across regional and long-haul routes in Canada and the United States. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and applicable provincial regulations, loading and unloading freight as needed, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The role also involves communicating with dispatch, adhering to scheduled delivery times, and keeping the vehicle clean and in good working condition. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong safety awareness,



professionalism with customers and colleagues, and reliability in meeting delivery commitments.

Qualifications

- Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent commercial driver’s license) with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Truck Driving and safe operation of commercial trucks in varying weather and road conditions.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and relevant Canadian transportation rules, including hours-of-service and safety compliance.
- Ability to perform basic loading, securing, and Unloading of freight using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of verifiable experience in long-haul or regional truck transport is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail for completing logs, inspection reports, and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on route requirements.
- Good communication skills and professional conduct with customers, dispatch, and team members.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and handle moderate lifting as required by the role.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
