Job Title: UX Designer - Junior

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)

Client: Public Sector

Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hr [CAD]

Must Have Skills:

- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications.
- ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing.
- Ability to work with Ontario Design system.
- Knowledge of digital service standard.
- Experience with Figma, Canvas and similar tools.
- Experience facilitating the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching,



prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
- Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a excellent user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
- Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
- Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes
