Our core product, TiriVelo Pet Care, is a developing marketplace designed to connect pet owners with trusted pet care providers and make finding and managing reliable care simpler, safer, and more transparent.

As TiriVelo continues to grow, our design organization works across responsive web and mobile experiences, product systems, service journeys, trust and safety experiences, and new digital initiatives.

Our team collaborates with students, emerging professionals, and experienced contributors from universities and design programs across North America. Designers work within a collaborative product environment alongside UX/UI designers, engineers, product contributors, and design quality reviewers.

We're currently preparing TiriVelo Pet Care for its initial launch while expanding our broader digital experiences and are looking for designers who can contribute thoughtful, polished work within an established and evolving design system.

Role Description

TiriVelo is seeking a UX/UI Product Design Intern to join our product design team and contribute to intuitive, accessible, and visually polished digital experiences across web and mobile.

This role is best suited for someone who already has a strong foundation in Figma and interface design and is looking to apply those skills within a collaborative product environment.

You'll work alongside TiriVelo's design team to improve and expand existing experiences rather than working only on isolated conceptual exercises. Depending on project needs, you may contribute to areas such as:

- Account creation and onboarding
- Service discovery and provider search
- Provider profiles
- Booking and checkout experiences
- Trust and safety experiences




- Customer and provider dashboards
- Administrative tools
- Responsive website experiences
- Design-system components and patterns
- Interactive prototypes and product documentation

Design work is reviewed collaboratively and progresses through TiriVelo's internal design-quality process before engineering handoff.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate strong visual UI skills in addition to UX thinking.

Required / Strongly Preferred

- Currently pursuing or recently completed education in UX/UI Design, Product Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI or digital product design work.
- Robust working knowledge of Figma.
- Experience designing polished high-fidelity interfaces.
- Understanding of Auto Layout, components, variants, and reusable design patterns.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Understanding of responsive web and/or mobile design.
- Strong visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and layout skills.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to collaborate within an established design system and accept iterative feedback.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.




- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Experience designing marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce, booking, or service-based products.
- Experience collaborating with developers or preparing designs for engineering handoff.
- Motion design or advanced Figma prototyping experience.
- Familiarity with responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Compensation This is currently an unpaid internship opportunity intended to provide practical experience within a team-oriented product-design workplace.

Participants will have opportunities to work on real TiriVelo product initiatives, receive feedback from experienced design contributors, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop portfolio-ready work where confidentiality and project requirements permit.

Scheduling is flexible and can be coordinated around academic and professional commitments.
