Vehicle Acquisition Specialist / Automotive Buyer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team.

This is not a traditional showroom sales position. Your primary focus will be purchasing vehicles directly from customers. You will work with incoming leads, communicate with vehicle owners, appraise opportunities, negotiate purchases, and close deals.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Requirements

- Previous automotive sales, purchasing, or dealership experience is required
- Valid OMVIC registration is required
- Must be available to work full-time from our office
- Strong understanding of vehicle values and the automotive market
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Confident communicating with customers by phone, text, email, and in person
- Strong follow-up and lead management skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with vehicle owners
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
- Valid Ontario driver's license

Responsibilities
- Work incoming leads from customers interested in selling their vehicles
- Contact and follow up with prospective sellers
- Gather vehicle information, history, condition, mileage, and ownership details
- Evaluate vehicles and work with management to determine purchase values




- Present purchase offers and negotiate directly with customers
- Convert leads into completed vehicle purchases
- Schedule vehicle inspections and customer appointments
- Maintain consistent follow-up with customers considering an offer
- Maintain accurate records of leads, offers, and purchased vehicles
- Develop relationships and create referral opportunities
- Meet monthly vehicle acquisition targets

Who We're Looking For We want someone who knows how to work a lead, negotiate, follow up, and close.

The ideal candidate has automotive experience and understands how to communicate confidently with customers looking to sell their vehicles. You should be persistent with follow-up, comfortable negotiating vehicle values, and motivated by hitting acquisition targets.

This is a performance-driven role with strong earning potential for someone who can consistently acquire vehicles.

Automotive experience, valid OMVIC registration, and the ability to work full time in-office are mandatory.
