Position Overview:

Klondike Cold Storage is currently hiring for multiple full-time warehouse positions within our temperature-controlled facility. We are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our operations team in one of the following roles:

- Freezer Worker | Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:00AM - 2:30PM
- Dock Shipper/Receiver | Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:00AM - 2:30PM
- Sanitation Worker | Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Key Responsibilities

Freezer Worker

- Pick, stage, and organize frozen products
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Maintain freezer organization and inventory accuracy
- Follow all cold storage and safety procedures

Dock Shipper/Receiver

- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently




- Verify shipments and documentation
- Organize dock operations to support workflow
- Maintain a clean and safe dock area

Sanitation Worker

- Clean and sanitize equipment and warehouse areas
- Follow HACCP, CFIA, and WHMIS procedures
- Maintain hygiene stations and common areas
- Report safety or sanitation concerns

Work Environment

- Temperature-controlled warehouse ranging from 4°C to -35°C
- Dock area temperatures between -2°C and 4°C
- Freezer temperatures between -20°C and -35°C
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting up to 60 lbs
- Quick-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements

- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Comfortable working in cold environments
- Forklift certification preferred (required for Freezer & Dock roles)
- WHMIS certification required for Sanitation role
- Strong attention to detail and safety-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Compensation

- Freezer Worker– $25.75 per hour
- Dock Worker– $23.61 per hour
- Sanitization Worker – $25.75 per hour

Wages comply with BC Employment Standards. Overtime and statutory holiday pay apply where applicable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.75 per hour
