At CGI, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced QA leaders on real enterprise projects while exploring how AI is redefining test automation, test design, defect analysis, test data generation, and quality intelligence. CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for enterprise applications.
- Apply AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
- Develop and optimize prompts for Large Language Models to automate QA activities.
- Assist in the creation of AI-powered testing agents and automation workflows.
- Create automated functional, regression, API, and end-to-end test suites.
- Analyze application requirements and convert them into effective automated test scenarios.
- Participate in exploratory testing supported by AI-assisted tools.
- Contribute to reusable automation frameworks and shared QA libraries.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Document automation processes, AI experiments, best practices, and technical knowledge.
- Research emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative approaches to software testing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the QA organization.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and its application to Software Quality Assurance.
- Demonstrated creativity, curiosity,



and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Flexible thinker who enjoys learning new technologies and adapting to rapidly evolving environments.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Technical Skills - Priority will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Experience using Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar)
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering
- Experience developing automation using Python or Java
- Understanding of software testing principles and automation concepts

Nice to Have
- Experience with any of the following technologies is considered an asset:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- Cucumber
- SOAtest
- JIRA
- REST API testing
- Git
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- SQL and relational databases
