About Xenali

Xenali Inc. is an Edmonton-based supplier of commercial furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E;) and Division 10 Specialties. We supply and install lockers, washroom accessories, partitions and commercial furnishings for institutional, recreational and commercial construction projects across Alberta and beyond.

Our warehouse is the control point between our suppliers and our job sites. Material that leaves here late, short or wrong stops a crew from working. We are looking for someone who takes that seriously.

The Role

Reporting to the VP Finance & Operations, the Warehouse Supervisor owns day-to-day warehouse operations: inventory accuracy, inbound receiving and outbound shipping. You will supervise a small team of two and work closely with our Project Coordinators, Purchasing team and site superintendents.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, not a desk job. Our warehouse is not automated — there are no scanners and no barcode system. Work runs on NetSuite pick tickets, printed paperwork and manual counts, which means accuracy depends on the discipline of the people doing it. You will be on the floor and in the paperwork every day.

What You'll Do

Inventory

- Maintain accuracy across approximately $1–2M of on-hand and project-allocated inventory
- Run and reconcile cycle counts on a scheduled cadence; investigate and resolve variances
- Segregate and protect pre-sold, project-allocated material so it is available and undamaged when the job calls for it
- Maintain warehouse organization, physical labelling and a logical, findable storage layout

Inbound

- Check incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, piece by piece, and enter receipts in NetSuite on the day material arrives
- Inspect incoming freight for damage and shortages; document and escalate discrepancies to Purchasing immediately
- Coordinate receiving of imported material,

including containers and LTL freight

Outbound

- Plan and stage outbound shipments to job sites against project schedules
- Pick and verify against NetSuite pick tickets; confirm that what physically ships matches the paperwork before the truck leaves
- Complete bills of lading, packing slips and shipping documentation accurately by hand
- Source freight quotes by contacting carriers directly, compare pricing and service, and book the shipment
- Coordinate delivery timing with Project Coordinators and site superintendents

Team & Safety

- Supervise, schedule and develop two warehouse staff
- Enforce protected work practices, including forklift operation and material handling
- Maintain a clean, organized and compliant facility

What You Bring

Required

- 3+ years in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year supervising or leading others
- Demonstrated ownership of inventory accuracy: you have run cycle counts and chased down variances, not just moved boxes
- Strong paperwork discipline — you are careful and consistent with documents that are filled out by hand
- Experience preparing bills of lading and shipping documentation
- Comfortable entering transactions in a computerized inventory system
- Forklift certification (or willingness to certify immediately)
- Comfortable with Excel, email and standard office software
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Preferred

- Hands-on experience with an ERP or WMS — NetSuite especially welcome
- Experience in construction supply, building products, millwork or FF&E;

- Familiarity with project-allocated or job-costed inventory
- Experience negotiating or rate-shopping LTL and courier freight
- Experience receiving imported freight and reconciling to commercial invoices and packing lists

How We'll Know You're the Right Fit

- You are precise. You would rather stop and verify than guess and move on. In a manual warehouse, that habit is the whole system.
- You are organized under pressure. Multiple jobs ship in the same week and you keep them straight.
- You communicate. When something is short, damaged or late, the project team hears it from you first, not from the site.

What We Offer

- Competitive annual salary of $62,000 – $75,000, based on experience
- Performance bonus tied to inventory accuracy and on-time shipment metrics
- Comprehensive health and dental benefits
- Monday to Friday schedule, day shift
- A small, established company where your work is visible and your decisions matter
- Real scope to improve how the warehouse runs — we know the manual processes have room to tighten up

How to Apply Preference will be given only to those applicants who complete the screening questions in full. Submit your resume to [email protected] with the subject line “Warehouse Supervisor – Edmonton.”

We thank all applicants for their interest; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
