Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring safety standards and project specifications are met.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal parts and assemblies
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding to join metal components securely and precisely
- Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and assemble materials
- Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting or positioning heavy components using cranes or forklifts
- Measure dimensions accurately with calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications
- Fabricate ductwork, structural supports, or custom metal pieces for manufacturing or construction projects
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, machinery, and heavy materials





Skills

- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques for various metals and thicknesses
- Strong mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics reading
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining processes, and assembly operations
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for crane operations and lifting heavy components safely
- Familiarity with construction or manufacturing environments involving ductwork or structural fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing or construction setting
- Understanding of welding safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
