Join our dynamic team as a Window Installer and bring your expertise in construction and craftsmanship to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows in a variety of residential settings. Your attention to detail, safety consciousness, and hands-on skills will ensure that every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
This contract position is paid by piecework, and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced workplace while contributing to beautiful, functional spaces.
Responsibilities
- Measure window and door openings accurately using schematics to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Prepare work sites by removing old windows and doors, or other materials as needed, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
- Install new products using hand tools, power tools, and caulking techniques to secure units firmly in place.
- Apply construction painting, drywall finishing, and caulking to achieve a polished, weather-tight seal.
- Perform restoration work when necessary, including repair of existing window frames or surrounding structures.
Requirements
- Contractor with a Truck, Trailer + Brake
- WSIB Coverage
- All fall arrest and safety courses (can be arranged if needed)
- Proven experience with hand tools, construction projects, or carpentry work is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, and construction painting is a plus.
