RESPONSIBILITIES The Construction Site Supervisor will provide overall leadership for on-site field supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of on site employees, subcontractors, and other construction related personnel. The site superintendent is responsible for directing and executing work according to the project plan, executing work on time, maintaining a safe work place, and promoting and enhancing the company image. Site Supervisors will be 'hands on' when required.

JOB DUTIES & CORE COMPETENCIES:

- Must have extensive experience in commercial construction (Ontario preferred)
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- Understand all rules, regulation, policies and local building code (Ontario)




- Must be prepared to work under pressure and self-motivation to his work and subcontractors
- Enforce company’s policy regarding the safety work environment and quality procedure
- Coordinate construction schedule and make sure the tasks and project are completed on time
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure the efficient use of labor, machines and materials
- Able to operate small heavy equipment is an asset
- Manage on site client communications and change request reporting
- Monitor job progress and provide regular progress reporting to management
- Manage administration activities including; timekeeping and safety reporting
- Inspect the quality of work

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
