Your tasks will include conducting stability analyses and collaborating with environmental experts to adhere to stringent regulatory standards. This is your opportunity to drive safer mining operations and develop practical waste management solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design tailings and waste rock facilities for mining
- Perform stability and seepage analyses for facility integrity
- Create mine waste management plans in compliance with regulations
- Evaluate data and recommend enhancements for performance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects Requirements:
- Degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering
- 5–7 years’ experience in tailings and waste management
- P.Eng. registration or eligibility in Ontario
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as GeoStudio
