Take charge as a Lead Autopsy Technician with Shared Health at St. Boniface Hospital. Ensure high standards in autopsy operations and compliance with health regulations.
This full-time position requires candidates with a minimum of three years’ experience in a related role and solid supervisory skills. You will oversee staff in the autopsy department while maintaining safety and quality standards in line with Manitoba health regulations.
Your leadership will contribute significantly to patient-centered services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the operation and staff of the autopsy department
- Ensure adherence to professional guidelines and quality standards
- Conduct regular training and assessments for staff
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement and industry partners
- Manage heavy workloads while maintaining emotional resilience
Requirements:
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Grade 12 completion or equivalent is required
- Two years of post-secondary education is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Certification with CCCPLS is an asset
