Database Administration- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments. Monitor database performance availability security and capacity. Implement and manage HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups replication backup and recovery. Perform database patching upgrades migrations and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot production issues related to performance locking blocking and connectivity. Database DevelopmentDesign and develop T-SQL objects including Stored Procedures Functions Views and Triggers. Optimize SQL queries indexing strategies and execution plans. Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF). Required Skills
7+ years of SQL Server DBA and Database Development experience. Robust expertise in: oAzure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI) T-SQL Programming oQuery Optimization & Performance TuninngoSSIS SSRS Azure Data Factory oDatabase Security & Monitoring 2+ years of Java and Spring Boot development experience. Experience with REST APIs and Microservices. Exposure to Azure DevOps Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure cloud services and database migrations. Knowledge of Power BI Databricks or Synapse. PowerShell scripting and automation experience. Azure or Microsoft SQL certifications preferred.
