Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands? JoinLevitt-Safety as a Field Service Technician and build specialized skills in fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems.
This is a hands-on, mobile role working at customer sites across Sudbury.Fire suppression experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
- Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues using hand and power tools.
- Complete inspections, service reports and required safety documentation.
- Maintain your service vehicle, tools and inventory.
- Provide basic customer training and support.
- Represent Levitt-Safety professionally at customer sites.
What You Bring
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
- Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
- Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
- Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work around large equipment, climb ladders and work in confined or restricted spaces.
