The St-Patrick, a friendly private seniors' residence located near Cartier Street, is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker. This position is ideal for recent retirees. Responsibilities include apartment renovations and resident requisitions, as well as other related tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, painting, and plastering. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Flexible hours: 8 a.m. or 4 p.m. day shifts (customizable schedule)
Salary: Starting at $24.25/hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze the work to be done, determine the necessary equipment to order, and notify your manager of the needs.
- Clear corridors and access doors of any items that could be cumbersome and/or compromise resident safety
- Ensure that the apartments are clean and in excellent condition before the next rentals
- Organize your tasks to meet deadlines
- Perform all other tasks related to his/her duties




- Perform various minor renovations and repairs in residents' apartments and common areas of the residence (painting, plumbing, carpentry)
- Respect health and safety rules at work
- Responding to emergencies and service calls
- To ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the premises

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication
- Occupational health and safety training (an asset)
- Experience in minor manual labor (painting, electrical work, carpentry and plumbing)
