The St-Patrick, a friendly private seniors' residence located near Cartier Street, is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker. Experience required. Responsibilities include apartment renovations and resident requisitions, as well as other related tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, painting, and plastering. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Salary: Starting at $24.25/hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze the work to be done, determine the necessary equipment to order, and notify your manager of the needs.
- Clear corridors and access doors of any items that could be cumbersome and/or compromise resident safety
- Ensure that the apartments are clean and in excellent condition before the next rentals
- Organize your tasks to meet deadlines
- Perform all other tasks related to his/her duties




- Perform various minor renovations and repairs in residents' apartments and common areas of the residence (painting, plumbing, carpentry)
- Respect health and safety rules at work
- Responding to emergencies and service calls
- To ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of the premises

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valuable communication
- Occupational health and safety training (an asset)
- Experience in minor manual labor (painting, electrical work, carpentry and plumbing)
