About UsFounded in Montréal in 2005, XM Wholesale / XM Design is a product development and wholesale company working with leading retailers across Canada.Our team develops and sources a wide variety of consumer products, with a growing focus on personal care, beauty, and cosmetic products.We work closely with our manufacturing partners from initial product development and sampling through packaging, production, quality control, and final delivery.We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Junior Production Coordinator to join our team in Laval and support our growing Personal Care & Beauty division.The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in the beauty and personal care industry, understands cosmetic and personal care products, and keeps up with current and emerging trends.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in beauty, cosmetics, product development, production, importing, or retail product development.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with our Production and Product Development teams, you will assist with the development and production of personal care and beauty products from initial concept through final production.Responsibilities include:Communicating daily with manufacturers in China regarding product development, orders, samples, and production statusAssisting with the development of personal care, beauty, and cosmetic productsResearching and staying informed about current and emerging beauty, cosmetic, personal care, packaging, and retail trendsCreating and managing orders in our internal production system, PLG (training provided)Sending purchase orders to factories and following up on production progressReviewing product samples for appearance, packaging, quality, fragrance, texture, colour, and overall presentation, as applicableReviewing, organizing,



and preparing product samples for internal and customer meetingsAssisting with the preparation of product presentations for our Sales teamCompleting customer quotation sheets and product informationReviewing packaging artwork, price tickets, labels, ingredient information, warnings, directions, and product content for accuracyAssisting with the collection and organization of product specifications, testing reports, and other required product documentationConducting quality-control inspections on TOP, advertising, and E-commerce samples before they are submitted to customersMaintaining and updating the Production Log on a weekly basisPreparing and shipping sample packages using DHL, UPS, FedEx, and PurolatorTracking incoming and outgoing samples and parcelsAssisting with company social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTokWorking closely with the Production, Product Development, and Sales teams on ongoing projectsMinimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience in production coordination, product development, cosmetics, beauty, personal care, wholesale, importing, retail, or a related fieldKnowledge and a positive understanding of cosmetics, beauty, and personal care productsGenuine interest in the beauty and cosmetics industryAwareness of current beauty and personal care trends, including new products, ingredients, packaging, colours, fragrances, and emerging trendsGood eye for product presentation, packaging, colour, and overall aestheticsStrong organizational skills and excellent attention to detailProactive, resourceful, and willing to learnComfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable communicating with overseas manufacturers and suppliersStrong follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlinesCollaborative team player with a positive and professional attitudeComputer Skills Required:Microsoft ExcelMicrosoft OutlookComfortable working with computers and learning new systemsAn Asset:Microsoft PowerPointAdobe PhotoshopAdobe IllustratorExperience using Instagram, Facebook, and TikTokLanguage RequirementsBecause this position involves regular communication with overseas manufacturers:English - Fluent written and spoken English requiredFrench - Proficiency in written and spoken French
