About the Opportunity Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on helping people navigate complex organizational transitions? A prominent public sector institution is embarking on a multi-year initiative to modernize its professional services, and we are looking for a Manager of Organizational Change to lead the way. In this role, you will be the bridge between visionary strategy and operational reality, ensuring that staff and faculty are supported, heard, and empowered during a period of significant growth.
You will join a dedicated program office where your expertise in change management will directly impact the institute's mission. By working closely with senior leadership and diverse cross-functional teams, you will help foster a culture of continuous improvement and inclusivity. Your Responsibilities
You’ll lead
the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies for various professional service functions, ensuring all initiatives align with the broader organizational goals.
In this role, you’ll oversee
the creation of the "case for change" by conducting impact studies and readiness assessments to identify and support key constituents affected by transitions.
You’ll provide
strategic coaching and expert advice to senior leaders, helping them increase their effectiveness as sponsors of sustainable change.
You’ll collaborate
with communications and HR partners to build a robust change culture, increasing change capacity and resilience across the organization.
You’ll develop
and monitor key metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies, recommending iterative improvements based on data-driven insights.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years
of progressive experience leading and implementing organizational change management strategies, ideally within the public sector or a complex institution.
Expert knowledge
of change management methodologies, values, and tools, with a Prosci designation or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Proven ability
to think strategically and work independently, with the confidence to lead complex projects from assessment through to implementation without constant direction.
Exceptional interpersonal skills
with a track record of building alignment, trust, and strong relationships with stakeholders at every level of an organization.
Experience in HR or Labour Relations
is considered a significant asset, particularly when navigating operating model changes and technical implementations.
