MNP is seeking a Summer Student to join its Assurance & Accounting team. In this role, you will develop vital skills in compilations, audits, and bookkeeping while learning about accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop skills in compilations, audits, and bookkeeping
• Manage multiple client files and conduct inventory counts
• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements
• Review discrepancies in financial documents and reports
• Collaborate with client engagement teams and enhance processes
Requirements:
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business
• Completion of prerequisites for CPA Professional Education Program
• Previous accounting office experience is a plus
• Customer service experience is favored
• Familiarity with accounting software is an asset
