Security Guard Mobile - Healthcare(Security) We are currently hiring Healthcare Security Guards to join our growing team. In this position, your primary responsibility is safely escorting medical teams and patients to and from the hospital, travelling throughdifferent partsof the region to do so. When not completing these duties, you willassistpatrolling healthcare facilities in the area to make sure they have safe and accessibleenvironments.This involves promptly filling out detailed incident reports whenever an issuearises,so youcandiscover solutions on how to keep staff, patients, and guests feeling comfortable in the secure environment you provide

Schedule

: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; second shift 7:00 pm to 3:00 am

Key Responsibilities

Escort medical teams and patients to and from the hospital, travelling throughdifferent partsof the region

Provide a professional and visible security presence throughout the healthcare facility.

Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.

Assist in the management of aggressive behaviour using de-escalation and non-violent crisis intervention techniques.

Support healthcare staff during emergency codes

Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.

Deliver exceptional customer service and act as an ambassador of Paladin Security’s values and professionalism.

Perform other duties as required in the role

Qualifications

Valid BC Security License





Basic First Aid Training is preferred

BC Class 5 driver’s license

Previous experience in a healthcare security setting preferred.

Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-stress situations.

Knowledge of hospital emergency codes and procedures is an asset.

Physically able to perform duties including standing, walking, and responding to incidents.

Completion of certifications and training prior to site deployment
