This opportunity is for you!As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will help improve our production equipment by combining design, innovation, and technical problem-solving. You will contribute to real-world projects focused on process optimization, mechanical design, and automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that enhance the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our operations.During this internship, you will have the prospect to:Participate in the design, improvement, and commissioning of production equipmentConduct technical studies to improve equipment performance, reliability,



and safetyPerform on-site assessments and analyses to identify improvement opportunitiesContribute to the design of parts, tooling, and mechanical systems using CAD softwareDevelop and update engineering drawings, technical plans, and documentationCollaborate on automation and manufacturing process improvement projectsParticipate in failure analysis and root cause investigations of mechanical issuesContribute to the implementation of solutions aimed at reducing costs, downtime, and production lossesParticipate in risk assessments and equipment safety evaluationsCollaborate with maintenance, production, quality, and health and safety teamsConduct testing, validation, and follow-up activities to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutionsPrepare and present the results of analyses along with recommendationsPerform any other duties related to the internship as requiredProfileWith the following skills and qualifications, you'll be set up for success:Currently enrolled in a university program in Mechanical EngineeringCompleted at least one year of university studiesKnowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalentUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical systemsProficiency with the Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and Lean Manufacturing (an asset)Ready to join us? We're looking forward to meeting you! This internship runs from January 5 to April 16, 2027.
