You will work under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager or Supervisor, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. The role requires effective communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing procedures. Your organizational skills will assist in managing cleaning schedules and inspections to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean assigned areas per established infection control guidelines
• Perform laundry duties including washing and folding linens




• Conduct daily inspections for cleanliness before shift ends
• Restock supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment
• Assist in training new Environmental Services staff
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or equivalent experience
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and respect confidentiality
• Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning procedures and standards
