- Operate farm equipment, tractors, combines, and other heavy agricultural machinery to till soil.
- Planting, fertilizing, applying pesticides, harvesting crops, and load and unload crops or containers of materials.
- Soil preparation and field conditioning
- Perform equipment and machinery maintenance.
- Adjusting mechanisms on machinery to ensure exact depth, spacing, and application rates
- Monitor equipment and machinery operations to detect malfunctions.
- Loading and unloading crops or materials
- Follow safety procedures
- May perform minor repairs to farm equipment and machinery.
- May supervise general farm labourers.
Job Requirements:
- Farm Knowledge and minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture practices, including soil preparation, seeding,
spraying, and harvesting in large-scale crop production systems.
- Interested to contribute to large-scale farming operations in Canada, specialized in beans operations like chickpea, lentil, canola and etc.
- Must have Driver license (Class 5 )
- Must been fluent in English
- Prefer to have high school diploma
- Prefer Technical Certification in Agriculture
