In this regular part-time position, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with patients, families, and caregivers. Your role is to assist nurses in providing hygiene, nutrition, and safety care while observing patients' well-being in various healthcare settings, including home and community facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily living activities • Support organized activities or programs while monitoring health • Collaborate with nurses to provide routine care • Maintain a safe and clean setting for patients • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families
Requirements: • Active or eligible registration with CLHA as a Health Care Aide • Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months • Commitment to patient safety and well-being • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends • Experience in long-term care settings preferred
