Fuze HR is seeking a well-experienced Buyer to join an established Canadian food manufacturer. This position requires expertise in sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing purchasing activities. Ideal candidates will have a background in food production or consumer packaged goods, prepared to work independently and support day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage purchasing for materials and ingredients • Develop procurement strategies for cost efficiency • Review MRP reports for material needs • Source competitive bids and evaluate supplier quotes • Negotiate pricing and maintain supplier agreements
Requirements: • 3–5+ years of purchasing experience • Proven Buyer experience in manufacturing • Strong skills in supplier management and negotiation • Familiarity with MRP and inventory processes • Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
