JOB PURPOSE The Electrician is responsible for electrical work at the journeyman level.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act as an Electrician.
Must have two years of experience.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to perform the duties of the position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Electrician is responsible for:
Troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating,
testing and modifying electrical components of building systems
Performing both demand and preventative maintenance on electrical components of building systems
Performing the electrical aspects of recent construction, installation and renovations for medical and non-medical systems
Maintaining the fire alarm system
Installing and maintaining phone and data systems
Designing control systems and wiring schematics
Keeping and maintaining records and documentation
