Job Description: Project Manager – Professional Services
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of customer implementations and integration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality. You'll act as the primary point of coordination between customers, internal engineering, support, and CS teams — keeping projects moving and stakeholders aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Own project planning, scheduling, and execution for customer implementations, integrations, and custom deployments.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers during active projects, managing expectations and communicating progress clearly.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and Product teams to remove blockers and keep delivery on track.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Identify risks early, proactively flag delays or scope changes, and drive resolution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, status reports, and timelines using project management tools.
- Facilitate kickoff calls, status updates, and post-implementation reviews.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across different customers and priorities.
- Contribute to improving internal PS processes, templates, and playbooks based on project learnings.
- Escalate technical or relationship risks to leadership when needed, with explicit context and recommended next steps.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in project management, ideally within a Qualified Services, SaaS, or technical implementation environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Experience managing technical projects involving APIs, SDKs, or integrations is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable leading calls with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customer leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and keep stakeholders calm and informed during complex or delayed projects.
- Experience with PM tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role (CSM, Support, Solutions Engineering).
- Familiarity with martech, analytics, or data platforms.
- Experience working with cross-timezone, distributed teams.
What Success Looks Like
- Projects consistently delivered on time and within scope.
- Customers feel informed and confident throughout the implementation process, even when issues arise.
- Internal teams have clear visibility into project status and blockers are resolved quickly.
- Strong collaboration across Engineering, Support, and CS with minimal friction.
