The NRC seeks a skilled Research Engineer Test Pilot, focused on enhancing aerospace research through flight evaluation. Your role will involve managing and conducting flight research projects, utilizing specialized research aircraft. Collaboration with Canadian and international aerospace partners is essential, emphasizing integrity and creativity in your work.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct piloting for airborne research and evaluation • Lead projects in flight mechanics and aeronautical technology • Manage technical development of research aircraft • Deliver analysis and reports on flight test data • Collaborate with government and aerospace agencies

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering, science, or math • Minimum 2500 hours flight time as a fixed-wing pilot • Completion of formal fixed-wing test pilot training • Valid airline transport pilot license – aeroplane • Experience in aircraft test or development environments
