In this Cook role, you will be integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences within a supportive community. Your responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and plating meals according to Chartwell's guidelines, while adhering to public health regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, and plate meals per Chartwell guidelines
• Maintain sanitary food preparation areas and equipment
• Ensure timely meal serving at correct temperatures




• Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies
• Comply with safe food handling regulations
Requirements:
• Previous cooking experience in long-term care is preferred
• Valid Food Handler certification needed
• Ability to lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity for cooking tools and equipment
• Transparent Criminal Background Check, VSS, and TB Test if required
