Urgent Travel Nursing Opportunities in Sechelt, BC
Russell Tobin is currently seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments in Sechelt, British Columbia . This is an excellent chance for highly skilled ER nurses looking to expand their experience while working in a dynamic acute care environment.
We are specifically looking for nurses with strong Emergency Department experience, including Triage and Trauma training.
Available Start Dates
July 30 onward – Multiple RN openings through October 30
August 20 onward – Multiple RN openings through October 30
Start dates may vary by up to 1-2 weeks based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting.
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments.
- Respond effectively to trauma cases, medical emergencies, and critical situations.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely charting using EMR systems.
- Adhere to BCCNM standards, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience .
- Demonstrated experience in Triage and Trauma Nursing .
- Current BLS Certification .
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new clinical environments.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Preferred
- ACLS Certification.
- TNCC Certification.
- Advanced Emergency Nursing experience in rural or community hospital settings.
