Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position emphasizes teamwork and hands-on expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems. Candidates must be prepared to interpret mechanical schematics and perform tasks such as welding and installation. A valid industrial mechanic/millwright certificate and a minimum of 7 years in a manufacturing setting are required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and efficiently • Interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints for installations • Maintain conveyor systems and all compressors and pumps • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure operational safety • Perform welding, soldering, and repairs on pneumatic systems
Requirements: • Valid industrial mechanic/millwright certificate required • Minimum of 7 years' experience in manufacturing • Proficient with MS Office and mechanical measuring devices • Ability to safely work at heights • Experience with scissor lifts and Genie booms is an asset
